Broadband applications to media & communications

Distribution of film and television across the Internet known by the Telecommunications Industry as Over-The-Top (OTT) is quickly emerging as a distribution medium with the potential to challenge traditional film and television industries’ and consumers' engagement with content. This paper explores Australian consumers’ current television viewing practices, and their understanding, interest and concerns in regards to OTT distribution.
