In this presentation, Markus Volkmann will provide a number of uses-cases for the connected car and provide a technical overview of the supporting platform ecosystem that provides seamless roaming across service provider networks. He will also discuss the cross organisational development and commercialisation challenges for bringing such services from concept to reality.

Markus Volkmann has been working for T-Mobile Austria for the last 5 years as a Core Network Planner and Engineer. Prior to T-Mobile he worked as a Team Leader, Network Design at ToolsAtWork, an Apple certified service provider. He is now based in Australia and is searching for a new employer that can leverage his technical, problem solving, project management team and communications experience for mobile and core network dependant applications.
