IoTAA and Telsoc are pleased to invite members to an thought leadership session from Dr Christian Schlaeger, Head of Cyber Security, G&D Mobile Security Division, in Sydney at the UTS Campus (Level 6, Seminar Room 408, Faculty of Engineering and IT, 81-87 Broadway, Ultimo) on Tuesday 27th March between 4:00pm and 5:30pm followed by networking and drinks. 

Christian recently participated at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona and will offer the latest insights on innovation and emerging trends, particularly in relation to the connected consumer, including the launch of G+D?s Secure UHF which can be deployed in IoT and smart mobility applications, such as parking areas or access control as well as for secure logistics applications, such as asset tracking  and Crypto Core SSD, as well as the launch of the world?s first computer SSD with an integrated embedded Secure Element (Ese).

The session will have a strong focus on digital identity, the connected consumer and digital transformation as well all the latest insights in emerging technologies following his participation at the Mobile World Congress in March 2018,  including a further collaboration with BMW

Dr Christian Schlaeger

Christian has over 12 years of global experience in Insurance, Telecoms, Automotive, Manufacturing and Security industries. Before joining G+D Christian was Senior Vice President at Metafinanz, a subsidiary of Allianz Insurance and lead the creation of the VW, Bayer, BASF and Allianz security service joint venture DCSO in Berlin. Prior to Allianz, Christian worked in IT transformation projects for SwissLife in Zurich and as a Manager for EY?s security practice with global clients from a broad and diverse portfolio of industries.
