The Internet of Things, NNNCo?s approach to Low Power Wide Area Network Solutions

Presented by Eric Hamilton - CTO, NNNCo

NNN Co.NNN Co. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the “buzzword du jour” that covers the concept of connecting devices in the field to servers in the core. There are multiple ways to connect devices, depending on the need and circumstances. One connectivity method is described as LPWAN - Low Power Wide Area Network.

Eric Hamilton, CTO of NNNCo, will describe the range of connectivity methods that are used in IoT, and the circumstances where each connectivity method can be most cost effective and efficient. Eric will also go on to describe NNNCo’s approach to providing IoT services to Australia.

This event will be cohosted with the Melbourne Networked Society Institute (MNSI) at the University of Melbourne. For more information about the venue including a map see: .

NOTE: different from our usual Lunchtime Lecture timetable, this event has been scheduled on a THURSDAY to avoid a close conflict with ANZAC day.
