Andrew Dodd is the convenor of Journalism at Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia. He was a reporter with The Australian newspaper, ABC TV?s 7.30 Report and ABC Radio National, where he presented many programs and founded the Media Report. He writes on media issues for the online news site Crikey.com.au. 

His research covers new and emerging media and future directions in journalism, with an emphasis on sustaining quality journalism. He is the author of J J Clark: Architect of the Australian Renaissance.
