Dr. Ashwin Sasongko Sastrosubroto is a senior researcher with ?Pusat Penelitian Informatika ? Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia?, Information Technology Research Center - The Indonesian Institute of Sciences. The center is a Government Research Center located in Bandung. He also serves as a member of ?Dewan TIK Nasional?, The Indonesian National ICT Council (ICT ? Information and Communication Technology).  This council was set up by the President of Indonesia to give advice to the Government on ICT development in the Country.  His last Government executive position until November 2013 was the Director General of Informatics Application at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, reporting directly to the Minister.
