Dr. Stan Davies has professional engineering experience in Rural Lines Divisions and in the Transmission and Advanced Technology Branches of the Telstra Research Laboratories of Telstra (formerly Telecom Australia; formerly the Post Master General?s Department).  His latter research experience included antennas and propagation, optical fibre transmission, microwave radio and cellular mobile radio systems, electromagnetic compatibility and broadband digital subscriber line systems. He has also more recently worked on technical support, transmission performance assessments and the standardisation of Digital Subscriber Line systems with NEC Australia.
