Louise Hyland, CEO, Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association
(AMTA)
TelSoc has pleasure in announcing a lunchtime webinar on the Australian mobile telecommunications sector, which to be held on Thursday, 14 May 2026, from 12.30 p.m. AEST.
We are honoured to have Louise Hyland, who is the spokesperson for this sector in public discourse, as our speaker. You will probably have already seen in both industry and general media something of Louise’s involvement in all of issues – and there are many – involving the mobile sector. Apart from the operators themselves, Louise is the go-to person on mobile issues, and that is precisely why we wanted her to present in our webinar program.
Louise’s presentation will take an in-depth look at Australian mobile telecommunications from policy settings, global trends and latest research. She will then demonstrate what investments and levers are needed to position Australia as a global digital leader in 2030 and beyond, while unlocking productivity gains across the country.
As with all TelSoc lunchtime events, Louise’s presentation will be followed by a Q&A session in which TelSoc members and industry colleagues will be able to raise questions and issues. Past experience suggests that these sessions can be incredibly interesting and informative. Given Louise’s substantial and diverse experience, her presentation and participation in the Q&A will be well worth your time.
