Latest TelSoc Journal Issue Now Available

The latest issue of our journal, the Journal of Telecommunications and the Digital

Economy, is now available at https://telsoc.org/journal/jtde-v10-n3. Please have a look at

In the Public Policy section, we publish a summary of a Broadband Futures Forum on

Regional Connectivity and Shared Infrastructure in NSW and New Zealand. If you missed

the Forum itself or want a refresher on what was discussed, you should read this paper.

We also include a wide variety of papers on Telecommunications and the Digital Economy.

There is a paper exploring the link between the cashless society and opportunities for

cybercrime in Indonesia. Another considers latency in future “ultra-low latency” 5G

networks, based on some existing network measurements. Something for everyone!

Also, sadly, we carry an obituary for Rollo Brett. He had been an influential head of the PMG

Research Laboratories and had held a number of other senior positions in Telecom Australia.
