The latest issue of our journal, the Journal of Telecommunications and the Digital Economy, is now available on the TelSoc website at https://telsoc.org/journal/jtde-v12-n3.  Please have a look at it.  You can download the full issue (towards the bottom of the issue page) or select individual articles.  All content is free to TelSoc financial members (when logged in).

The September issue includes a Special Issue section on Perspectives on Machine Learning.  It contains a guest editorial and six papers on Machine Learning, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) technique.  It is hoped that this will bring some further perspective on how AI has become an operational tool for statistical analysis and automated predictive model building.

There are also other papers related to the Digital Economy: two papers in the Digital Economy & Society section; and a review paper on a framework for the digital economy.

The reprint from the TJA is from 1970 about a management system for subscriber equipment installation – no AI, manual input, and a flowchart.
