This MEMBERS ONLY event incorporates a sandwich lunch, the TelSoc's Annual General Meeting and a lecture about the Telecom Infra Project (TIP) presented by Carolyn Phiddian - GM Technology Strategy / CTO at nbn.
The AGM will commence promptly at 11.30am and needs 10% of current financial members (click-here to join now) in attendance for a meeting quorum. If you can't attend please nominate your proxy (eg. a fellow member or the president / chair of the meeting). Following the AGM a sandwich lunch will be provided and from 12.30pm Carolyn will make her presentation about the Telecom Infra Project (TIP). TIP is an engineering-focused initiative driven by operators, infrastructure providers, system integrators, and other technology companies that aim to reimagine the traditional approach to building and deploying telecom network infrastructure.
Carolyn has recently attended the TIP Summit conference in California, USA. Her presentation will provide a summary of the initiatives discussed at the summit and how TIP is aiming to make a significant shift in the future of our industry. Carolyn's presentation will be followed by a professional networking opportunity over tea/coffee to complete the day's event.
