Kautsarina is a member of the Indonesian Researcher Association and a government researcher at the Agency of Human Resources and Research Development, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT), Republics of Indonesia. Her background study is informatics engineering and information technology management. She is involved in developing policy research and ICT master plan. Her current research is about information technology, telecommunication and information security management. She also works as an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor for public institution since 2011. She will start her doctoral degree in September 2017 at Computer Science Faculty, University of Indonesia.
