Update on TelSoc Event
How to register for the TelSoc Event on 12 March 2025: Professor William Webb, Is this really the end of telecoms history?
The event is free, but TelSoc wants attendees to register with their names and email addresses. A Zoom link will be sent by email, with a reminder, to all registrants in good time before the event.
Having difficulties registering?
Some potential attendees have had difficulty registering. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the website, www.telsoc.org/event, using this link. Right click the box marked ‘Detail’ on the William Webb event, and follow the prompts from there. If you are a financial member of TelSoc, you will be registered and receive an email confirmation. However, if you are not a financial member of TelSoc, you will be asked to open an account and join TelSoc before proceeding.
Step 2: Please seriously consider becoming a member of TelSoc. There is a lot of information about what we do and why you should join, elsewhere on the website.
Step 3: If you don’t want to become a TelSoc member right now and would like to join us on 12 March for William Webb’s presentation and the Q&A session after that, send your name and email address to me at jim.holmes@telsoc.org and I will take it from there. Also let me know of any other enquiries you have about TelSoc.
