M1 is NEXTDC's flagship Australian data centre facility located less than 3km from Melbourne's CBD. The Melbourne facility is the largest independent colocation data centre in the city, with six data halls measuring 1,000m? each and features a 400kW rooftop photovoltaic solar array ? the largest privately funded installation in Australia, making it the first data centre in Asia Pacific to use solar power as a supplementary energy source.

This is a TelSoc member?s only opportunity to visit an operational Data Centre. There will 3 group tours of the Data Centre and each group will contain a maximum of 8 people. You will need to register as soon as possible for your preferred tour time.
- Group 1 (8 people) meet 4pm then 4.15pm start for 30mins (Fully booked)
- Group 2 (8 people) meet 4.30pm then 4.45pm start for 30mins (Fully booked)
- Group 3 (8 people) meet 5pm then 5.15pm start for 30mins (Fully booked)

Note: Please be on time as latecomers will not be able to join a tour that has already commenced. On the day you will be expected to present photo identification (Driver License or Passport) and MUST be wearing appropriate flat enclosed footwear. Children are not permitted on this tour.
