US smartphone sales fell 6% in 1Q22 as demand cooled says Counterpoint Smartphone sales in the US fell 6% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2022, the technology analyst firm Counterpoint Research reports, adding that this was due to a cooling of demand that had been generated by the pandemic.
