Anthony McCosker lectures in Media and Communications in the Faculty of Health, Arts and Design at Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia. His research explores media affect, media technology, digital and visual cultures and social media practices and publics. He is author of the book Intensive Media: Aversive Affect and Visual Culture (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013), and he has published a number of book chapters and articles in journals such as Information, Communication and Society, Sexualities, Continuum and Transformations.
