Dear TelSoc Member,

This is to inform you that we have taken the difficult decision to cancel or postpone the Henry Sutton Oration for 2020.

As you may recall, we have two major luncheon events each year:

• The Charles Todd Oration in Sydney (given by a leader from the Telecommunications Industry)
• and the Henry Sutton Oration in Melbourne (given by a leading technologist or scientist).

The latter is usually in May or early June, but we have cancelled the current booking and will be looking to schedule it later in the Winter; circumstances permitting.

The Lunchtime Lecture scheduled for 24th March has likewise been postponed, although we still have the option to run these events online only and will be announcing any arrangements shortly.
