Since October 2000, Chris has been the Chief Executive Officer of .au Domain Administration Ltd (auDA), a non-profit company that is the independent, not-for-profit manager of the Australian Internet domain name space (.au).
Until he stood down in March 2011, Chris was the Chair, since its foundation in June 2004, of the Country Code Name Supporting Organisation (ccNSO), the body that represents the interests of and sets global policy and best practice for country code top level domains (ccTLD) within ICANN.
Chris was selected by the ccNSO to join the Board of ICANN in June 2011.
Since 2006, Chris has also been a member of the United Nations Secretary-General's Internet Governance Forum Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group.
