Christopher Leckie received the BSc degree in 1985, the BE degree in electrical and computer systems engineering (with first class honors) in 1987, and the PhD degree in computer Science in 1992, all from Monash University, Australia. He joined Telstra Research Laboratories in 1988, where he conducted research and development into artificial intelligence techniques for various telecommunication applications. In 2000, he joined the University of Melbourne, Australia, where he is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Computing and Information Systems.
