Dr. Eun-A Park is currently Affiliated Faculty at the Institute for Information Policy at Pennsylvania State University. Since 2008, Dr. Park was working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication, Film and Media Studies at the University of New Haven. In July 2016, she was promoted to the rank of associate professor with tenure. Her research interest focus on media and telecommunications policy (e.g., digital divide, universal service, broadband policy, social and political impact of new media, Internet as mass media, industrial organization model and its application into broadband markets), the adoption and diffusion of new media technologies, and transformative learning. Her research papers have been presented at various conferences and published in journals such as Telecommunications Policy, Government Information Quarterly, Telematics and Informatics, The Information Society, Info, and Journal of Information Technology Education. Prior to her academic career, she was a researcher for a governmental institute, the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) in South Korea and published numerous analytical reports for Korea?s government and industry.
