Research Description

The project is entitled as Wellness Sensors and Networks. The outcome of my research will help to make a home automated, simple and safe for individuals who stay alone at home. Our goal is to make life independent, safe and efficient with the advancement in technology and science. It also includes energy efficient monitoring of household appliances and generate daily pattern for wellness of the inhabitant. I would like to develop a sensor network to specifically address the home monitoring of inhabitants.

Research Importance

Over recent time we have found many people who stay alone, such as elderly. This may be due to their caregiver living a large distance away. The research provides integrated and energy efficient home monitoring solutions with automation.

Research Benefit

This research aids everyone who is looking for technology assisted monitoring and automation control at the economical cost. The wellness sensor and networks helps them to stay fit and fine, and provides the wellness information to the person and to the health professional who provides health care.

Personal Description

I am from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. I have chosen Massey University due to the excellent research atmosphere and supervisors. I would like to go back to my country after my research completion to utilize and enhance my knowledge and skills towards the wellbeing of humans.
