Kate Carruthers'  current role is Manager of Data Governance and Business Intelligence for UNSW Australia.  She is a business leader who has delivered strategic IT, marketing, web and e-commerce solutions for diverse organisations across the private sector and government. She is deeply involved with social media and the digital revolution.  

She has worked in senior executive roles with a broad range of organisations including ? UNSW Australia, Westfield Ltd (Scentre Group), NSW State Treasury, General Electric, AMP Limited, and Citibank. 

Kate advises startups and is researching and developing solutions for the Internet of Things. She is also co-founder of Social Innovation Sydney.
