Dr Lauren Rosewarne is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her areas of research and teaching speciality include gender, media and sexuality. Lauren is the author of eight books, most recently "Intimacy on the Internet: Media Representations of Online Connections" (Routledge, 2016). Lauren writes regularly for The Conversation and The Drum and is a frequent commentator on radio, in press and on television.
