Margie Comrie is an Associate Professor in the School of Communication, Journalism and Marketing at Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand. A former newspaper reporter and radio current affairs producer, she has taught public relations and journalism studies since 1990. She is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of NZ and her research interests include news media, political journalism and health communication.
