Marta Poblet is an Associate Professor and Vice Chancellor's Senior Researcher at RMIT University. She is one of the co-founders of the Institute of Law and Technology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and past researcher at ICREA (Catalonia). She holds a Juris Doctorate from the Stanford University (2002) and a Master degree in International Legal Studies (Stanford Law School, 2000).
Her research interests are law and conflict resolution, ADR-ODR, mobile technologies for development, and crowdsourced crisis mapping, and she has published over 40 articles on these topics in international journals and books. Marta is also a team coordinator of the Standby Volunteer Task Force, an international network of crisis mappers working in humanitarian response.
