Paul Szyndler is auDA's General Manager of International and Government Affairs.
He represents auDA and ".au" on ICANN's Country Code Name Supporting Organisation (ccNSO), where he contributes to a wide range of policy processes, including serving as Chair of the ccNSO's Country and Territory Names Study Group. He was also part of Australia's delegation to WCIT in 2012.
Domestically, he has coordinated auDA's efforts in convening both the Australia and New Zealand Internet Awards (ANZIAs) and the Australian Internet Governance Forum (auIGF).
Prior to joining auDA, Paul fulfilled numerous functions within the Australian Government's Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy (DBCDE) and its predecessors. His roles included Secretariat of ICANN's Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC) between 2001 and 2003 and Australian representative to GAC between 2005 and 2007.
