Peter Walton

InfoXchange

Peter Walton became Chief Executive Officer of Infoxchange in February 2012. He has over twenty years international experience working in multi-sector community development in both not-for-profit organisations and the private sector. During his career he has undertaken assignments in over 30 countries, including being based for seven years in Hanoi, Vietnam where he managed social and economic development operations across the Mekong region for ChildFund Australia. During this time he was awarded the Vietnam Government's Medal for Peace and Friendship, the highest award offered to foreigners, for services towards social development and poverty alleviation.

Peter joins Infoxchange after leaving Save the Children where he was the Director of Programs (International and Domestic), overseeing $35m of projects and leading an international team of over 400 technical and program support staff.

Peter is married with two children. He holds a Master of Science in Development Economics, a Master of Business Administration and is currently in the early stages of a PhD.
