Richard Harris

EMClarity Pty Ltd

Richard has more than 25 years' professional experience in product design, project management and system engineering in the telecommunications and intelligent transport sector. Starting his professional career in 1985 in the Aviation, Defence and Maritime sectors with the Commnwealth Government, he moved on to a period of major ITS project delivery with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority and APP during the 1990?s.

During the 2000?s Richard held a number of senior technical management positions with equipment start-ups and equipment manufacturers in Australia and the USA, overseeing new telecommunications product development.

In 2010 he took the position of Managing Director of EMClarity Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of EM Solutions Pty Ltd, tasked with commercialising EM Solutions' many telecommunications product developments.  The most recent success of these is the E band E10G product line which is world-leading telecommunications backhaul microwave technology now selling into the USA - the world's most competitive telecommunications market.

Richard holds a BE and PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Queensland and a business degree from University of Canberra. He is also an alumnus of University of NSW AGSM and is a registered professional engineer in Queensland.
