The Internet has become an efficient way of doing business, delivering information and entertaining. Specialised ?Content Delivery Networks? are often called on to perform the heavy lifting by distributing data, images, video and other content to billions of users around the world.
In parallel, over the last few years, business has been stimulated by a growing ?Cloud? model of pervasive computing, storage and communication that provides IT capabilities and content on demand. The Cloud creates new business opportunities for large-scale delivery of rich Internet content around the world.
This presentation provides an example of how the Cloud can be utilised to quickly establish an international business with inherent cost and performance advantages. It also explains why delivery of web content via the Cloud will become a mainstream way of conducting business for industries ranging from Banking to Television and beyond.
