Optus testing 5G mmWave technology with Ericsson, first call completed Australia’s second biggest telco Singtel Optus has started testing 5G mmWave technology with Sweden's Ericsson, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The NBN is done. Does the NBN now need to be redone? COMMENT: Barring a major catastrophe, the Coalition Government will be able to announce within a fortnight or so that it has completed the rollout of the national broadband network, meeting its target. One can only hope that, at the same time, there will be an announcement about how the network will be upgraded.

Complaints about faulty phones, Internet services dominate TIO report Residential consumers and small businesses made 32,441 complaints about phone and internet services to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) over three months between January to March this year - with a massive 70% of the complaints coming from users not having a working phone or Internet service.
