OPPO becomes top smartphone brand in China in January OPPO, one of three smartphone brands owned by giant B.B.K. Electronics, has become the number one smartphone brand in China for the first time, the technology analyst firm Counterpoint Research says, adding that this was achieved in January. OPPO was also the top 5G brand in the sub-US$600 (A$780) price segment.
