Alcatel-Lucent?s visiting Strategic Marketing Director, Customer and Market Insight ,Marc Jadoul will deliver a public lecture on IoT and Smart Cities at the University of Melbourne.

Working closely with network operators globally, Marc has particular insight to emerging trends in connected technology and services, and the real issues to be resolved to enable their potential. Marc is perfectly positioned to articulate some of the key challenges in designing and developing an ecosystem to support the IoT vision, and can offer a framework guide to getting it right.

Marc Jadoul is Strategic Marketing Director, Customer and Market Insight, in Alcatel-Lucent. In this role he is working with company-wide stakeholders to create thought leadership, generate sales opportunities and grow revenues, and engaging with senior customers to capture their needs, enhance their strategy and help them grow their business. Marc has over 20 years? experience in the ICT sector. Since he joined Alcatel in 1992, he has held positions in research & innovation, strategy, marketing and communications, business development, and solutions consulting for fixed and mobile telecom service providers. Marc holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of Brussels. He is a passionate B2B storyteller, blogger, author or co-author of more than 120 papers, magazine articles and conference presentations, and a frequent speaker and panellist at industry events. He speaks Dutch, English and French.
