Chris Chaplow is the founder and Managing Director of andalucia.com, a tourism portal for Southern Spain, with 400,000 visitors a month.

Chris was awarded an honours degree in Civil Engineering at Kings College, London. In 1993 he created the first digitized database of Spanish images capable of being transmitted to the worldwide media.

Andalucia.com was founded in 1996, and in 2008 was awarded the inaugural ?Costa del Sol - Business of the Year? by the Junta de Andalucia (regional government).

Chris has been an active member of the ICANN community since 2008. He was elected Vice Chair for Finance and Operations of the Business Constituency (2010-2014), and is Chair of the ?Commercial Stakeholders Working Group on ICANN Budget and the Operating Plan?. He also sits on policy working groups such as ?Communications and Coordination Work Team?, and is a member of the ?Study Group on Use of Names for Countries and Territories.?
