Journal of Telecommunications and the Digital Economy

September Issue

The September 2017 issue has now been published and papers may be found on the telsoc.org website. The papers provide a good mix of research, public policy comment and telecommunications history. This month the highlights include a paper about Indonesian telecommunications and a proposal for SafetyNet, a new approach to rural and remote communications.

Call for Papers

We're making a call for papers for the December issue. If you spot a forum presentation or newspaper article from someone that you would like to hear more from, let the Journal team know and we will follow up and try to attract a paper. If you have an idea for a paper or have something that you're working on please contact the Journal team and let us know. We would be happy to help you.

Global Telecommunications and Mobile Challenge

Over the past three issues the AJTDE has published papers from a number of countries about the history of the telecommunications industry and regulation. Help us attract papers from countries around the world, the more that we can publish the better the information resource will be on national telecommunications policy and regulation. We're here to help if there are any questions on how to prepare the paper and to submit it to the AJTDE.

Further Indexing

The Journal team has commenced the next step and that is to get the Journal into more indexes and this will help attract more readers to the Journal. Hopefully before the end of this year we will be able to add the Journal impact factor and other details to the Journal website.

Journal Improvement Project - Donate here

TelSoc has commenced a project to update the Journal paper management approach to permit authors, reviewers and editors to carry out their tasks quickly and efficiently through the website. We've had a consultation process and received quotes for the functionality to be added to the website. We're underway with the update and require further funding to be able to enhance the Journal website.

Donations are welcome, even a small contribution is welcome. Learn more and donate here.
