The latest issue of our journal, the Journal of Telecommunications and the Digital Economy, is now available on the TelSoc website at https://telsoc.org/journal/jtde-v11-n2.  Please have a look at it.  You can download the full issue (towards the bottom of the issue page) or select individual articles.  All content is free to financial members of TelSoc.

The main part of this number is a special issue section on Women’s Participation in the Digital Economy and Digital Society.  You will find 12 articles on this topic from around the world, giving fascinating insights into the digital economy and digital society.  There is also a Guest Editorial by the editors of the special issue and a Foreword by Vicki Brady, the CEO of Telstra.

We also publish an obituary of George Hams, who will be remembered by many members as an influential telecommunications engineer and manager, and an international telecommunications adviser. He passed away earlier in 2023.

In the Telecommunications section, we have one paper from Nigeria on consumer awareness.
