Just a reminder that the next Lunchtime Presentation is taking place online next Tuesday, 21 November at 12.30. The presenter is Kris Maric, who will speak about the ABAC report on the Creative Industries.  This is the last of the presentations on the ABAC reports from 2021/2022.  The other presentations sparked much interest and discussion.  This one will be no different! The event is free but you must register to be sent the Zoom link.

The Charles Todd Oration for 2023 will be delivered by Rob Nicholls, Associate Professor at UNSW Business School. He will be speaking at a luncheon event in Sydney. Rob Nicholls will be introduced by the Minister for Communications, Michelle Rowland.  There will be a Question and Answer session following the Oration. TelSoc members and guests in Melbourne can see the speeches live via video at Gilbert+Tobin, Level 25, 101 Collins Street, Melbourne. Light refreshments will be provided.

Just a reminder that our next online lunchtime presentation is just a week away on 21 September. Cynthia Gebert, the TIO herself, will be speaking about the Telecom Industry Ombudsman process and recent changes. Also, Karen Lee, Senior Lecturer in Law at UTS, and a TelSoc member, will discuss the effectiveness of various approaches to regulation.
